Progressive Opportunities Ticket Sales

The Network of Bay Area Worker Cooperatives (www.nobawc.org) and the Progressive Opportunities Conference invite 20 inquisitive minds on a guided bike tour of East Bay worker cooperatives. Register at the bottom of this page. We will meet on Saturday, February 25th at noon for live music, cookies and milk, as well as a general orientation.

We will depart Nabolom Bakery at 1pm and finish the tour around 3:30pm at the Cheesboard.
Your registrration fee also includes a copy of A Guide to Worker Cooperatives by the Bay poster. Yes, this event is the day before the conference; bike tour on Saturday and the conference on Sunday. Meet up place: Nabolom Bakery, 2708 Russell Street, Berkeley, CA 94705;
Meet up time: Noon for live music, cookies & milk
Tour departs: 1pm from Nabolom Bakery
Tour ends: 3:30ish at Cheesboard with pizza, of course
You must have: a bike, helmet, working lights & spare tube
You must be 18+ years of age or be accompanied by a guardian.
You will be asked to sign a Liability Release Form; refusal to sign will disqualify you from participating in the ride.
- The bike tour will obey all traffic laws. The group will be lead by two experienced riders from the Missing Link Bicycle Co-op; http://www.missinglink.org/
- Potential route includes: Missing Link Bicycle Co-op, Cheeseboard Bakery & Cheese Shop, Juice Bar Collective, Berkeley Free Clinic, Maybeck High School, Nabolom Bakery, Alchemy Coffee Collective, Biofuel Oasis, InkWorks Press, Heartwood Woodworking Cooperative, Pedal Express Bike Delivery, Quilted Tech Collective.
- Meet at noon at Nabolom Bakery for a pre-tour concert with a live band; band will be playing form 10am-1pm so come early and chill out
